Eye Infection

Eye infection can cause conjunctivitis and usually cause symptoms such as gritty, irritated eyes, yellowy pus formation on eye lids and general burning of the eyes. Clean cotton wool and warm water (boiled water cooled down) can be used to gently rub away crust and pus from the eyes, and then warm compressions can help with the overall eye irritation. Normally eye infections are self limiting and go away by themselves, but you can use an antibiotic eye drop if you are sure its a bacterial eye infection. Explore antibiotic and eye infection remedies here with Optrex bacterial conjunctivitis eye ointment, Brolene and Golden eye ointment
